HANDLING & SHIPPING    Several factors contribute to handling and shipping charges calculated by the online warehouse database system.   Handling is $4 per order.  Shipping is calculated by the total order weight  times $0.90 per pound with a $8.10 minimum.  (If your order weighs 5 pounds, the shipping cost is the minimum $8.10.  If your order weighs 16 pounds, the shipping cost is 16 times $0.90 or $14.40.)   Family Tent Outlet will select the carrier.  These fees are applied on a per order (not per box) basis.   As of the Spring of 2008, we have FREE SHIPPING on most orders over $50.    Now, if the $50 plus order weighs more than 40 pounds, the shipping rate per pound is just $.40.   

There are some products that do not qualify for "free shipping over $50" due to bulkiness.  The shipping companies calculate a "shipping weight"  by taking the width, length, and height and plug them into a formula.  The "shipping weight" is usually more than the actual weight of the product.  You will see a note in the product's description if it does not qualify for the "free shipping over $50".

It is your responsibility to notify Family Tent Outlet of any lost or damaged shipments.    Family Tent Outlet does not sell nor ship internationally.    Family Tent Outlet markets and ships within the 48 contiguous states, which excludes Hawaii and Alaska.  It typically takes from 1-2 days to process an order.  All merchandise is shipped standard ground, so please allow 5-8 days for shipment.  If you are outside the United States, email Customerservice@familytentoutlet.com  before you place the order and we will see if we can help you.   Handling and shipping charges are non-refundable.

RETURN POLICY    Customers wishing to return merchandise to Family Tent Outlet must first call our office and obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. RA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, and must be obtained within 30 days of ship date. Returns will be handled according to the following schedule:

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE   Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill.  If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim.  Family Tent Outlet or CMJ Ventures, Inc cannot be responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

BACKORDERS   All in-stock items are shipped at time of order; out-of-stock items will be placed on backorder and you will be notified. All backorder items will be shipped at the time the product becomes available.  If backorder period exceeds 30 days, Family Tent Outlet will notify you prior to shipment release. In the event of partial shipment, each shipment will be billed separately.  Backorders are shipped at prices in effect when the items were ordered.

CANCELLATIONS   All orders (including backorders) may be cancelled with no additional fee PRIOR to shipping. (Orders are shipped when shipping labels and tracking numbers have been generated). Cancellations must be made by email (orders@familytentoutlet.com).   FAMILY TENT OUTLET WILL NOT CANCEL AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE.  If an order has been shipped, it may be returned following the RA guidelines listed above.

WARRANTY   All warranties for products purchased through Family Tent Outlet are the responsibility of the respective manufacturers. All issues, claims and questions concerning product warranties should be submitted directly to the manufacturers. In the event that the product is a health related device or nutritional supplement, all information contained on the Website, including information relating to medical and health conditions, products and treatments, is for informational purposes only. The information on the Family Tent Outlet  website, or information provided by the manufacturers of the products, or information on product packaging or labels is not meant to be a substitute for the advice of a physician or other medical professional and should not be used for prescribing a medication or diagnosing a health problem. Statements regarding dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY   Under no circumstances shall Family Tent Outlet, CMJ Ventures, Inc or any other party involved in creating, distributing, or supplying products for Family Tent Outlet be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from products purchased from Family Tent Outlet, the use or inability to use the site, the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, statements or conduct of any third party on the site. You hereby acknowledge that this paragraph shall apply to all content, merchandise, and services available through the Website.  In the event that your state does not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for damages, in such states liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
